I have to agree with amy, the first part had problems with flow. Try reading it outloud. Other then that it was great, a lot of passion. I liked the last line best. I'm gonna give this a 5/5 as its your first poem on here. :) |

Alright this poem made me laugh in some parts I'm not going to lie because in those it showed the youthful part of being a beginner where you haven't yet become jaded (some do become jaded) as poets have been writting for a long while. I wasn't really a big fan of those rhymes (yes I know that's ironic because I sometimes use rhymes on my poetry) it's not that I don't love the poem because I do but like I was once told it restricts what you can do without them. The title was fantastic honey, you got the life of a poet down to the end of the poem. Loved that it's relatable and it's just too adorable! 4/5 |
