No matter what life may bring
I often get hunches of certain things.
My mother would have frequent premonitions
these protective feelings she called female intuition.
You may feel some way about things
then from within a voice may sing.
You should not act on all hunches you spawn
not all hunches should be acted upon.
To have a hunch you need no words
some come true, some fly like birds.
Are hunches for real? Im not so sure
sometimes they happen or dont occur.
Hunches in the middle of the night, hunches in the morning
hunches of destiny, hunches of warning.
Ive even had hunches while sleeping it seems
nightime visions in my dreams.
Now I wonder if my hunches are real?
as my inner fortune teller reveals.
Or are hunches responsible for good judgement stealing?
just like a stomache just a bad gut feeling?
I one had a hunch I found love worthwhile
I was being hypnotized by a pretty smile.
I had this hunch we would be lovers
a hunch best kept undercover.
Now I see how our love lacks...............
I think I want my hunchback.
