Typos: second line, 'sulty' is supposed to be 'sultry.'

I have been meaning to comment on this yesterday, but I just haven't had the time. Now I am going to! Ha.

I love this poem, Andrea. I love it even though I believe it is not true - I do not believe that your heart was stony. I don't believe that for one bit...from what I have seen, you are an extremely incredible woman and I adore you :) I really do, and I don't say that unless I mean it.

As with most of your poems, I believe that this is written for your husband, and that this is true.

    'You resurrected my soul
    upon a hot sulty night,
    with a deep, heartfelt
    sigh, I allowed you
    to consume my withering
    insecurities.'

^ I love the word 'resurrected' - it one of those words where there is strong feelings, at least for me. Whenever I hear it, I imagine that someone is being woken up to start a new life...being able to breathe once more. Just a rejuvenating feeling for me. The line 'I allowed you to consume my withering insecurities' is one of my favorites in this stanza because it implies so much about you as a person. Not only that, it also is relatable to the reader because one time or another, they have felt like that. Everyone feels insecure.

    'Those eyes were made to
love my heart, as if darkness
was no match for the enchanting
    light that boiled within them,
I am so in love with you...'

^ This is a beautiful simile/image right here as well. I love that you described his eyes like that, because it is beautiful, romantic, and....well, enchanting. I just love this part :)

Another very beautiful poem, Andrea. Very beautiful.
