Cheat

by Colette   Jul 12, 2012

We were both playing the same game,
and both trying to win it.
Don't want this to turn into a war zone but you jumped the gun too early.
Nine days later, five after ten, the twentieth month.
Said goodbye to so many good times and moved along.
Not fair the way you played,
don't play with her feelings, babe. Let you know and do so much, should have made you stop. Crushed dreams are now left behind for me, not to fix, but to forget.
There's more outside of the world we created.
