Downtown by the bridge

I miss the taste of liquor, the view on the bridge at night
The street lights, the city life
Where the clubs never close
And you find yourself, lost by the combinations and consumption,
A.ss chasin, money draining
More than enough but your mind can take it, cant take it, wont waste this,
I'm living life with strangers, fearing nothing like I never knew danger
Lost in the bright lights, those cold nights
When home wasn't a home anymore
When your bed seemed so far away
And the next day wasn't coming anytime soon
Grow up and shut the f.uck up
After the slap across her face, the belt to his a.ss
The last thing in your mind, while full of rage
And before you could ask, they put you in your place
They keep calling you a fool, tell you to act different
Your weird, so they treat you like your transparent
I wish I could see though you too
I'd grab your heart to see if its real
Walking around like my memories cover my skin
Wondering if my thoughts latch on to people
Where do I begin...
