Letter 60 "When you left"

by Marcus blake   Jul 14, 2012

The lengths of time can never be cut so easily
Thin margins measured, a world never known
And when we witness our truths and compassion
We fear we have become less than ourselves
You are an exception, like a revelation something un-begun
A faint face I can barley see anymore
I warm reminder of it all, the everything left behind
When words spoken from a stranger made me see things different
How inspiration alone could conquer shy feelings
How you meant something
Toward a conscious note, a thought
And just as the days become stable
And the riddles made more sense
The moments past were meant
For when you left

"Eyes are a beautiful thing to stare at and get lost in..." Marcus A. Blake-
