This was good. I could relate to this and you described well the guilt we can feel when we blame ourselves for not realising what we got into, or for finding excuse after excuse.

You have made some errors in this poem by missing out the word "he"

- Should've known
by the way hurts me

-Should've known
by the way talks to me.

-Should've known
by the way loves me.

all these are missing the "he"

but fix these and it is a good poem.
