April Rains

by You Can Speak But I Can Rhyme   Jul 16, 2012

The dark cloudy skies, comprise tears in disguise;
A sight for the sore eyes, fireflies on every moonrise;
April rains have come, seldom have I been so numb;
Cold and chilled air, despair in every nightmare...

Tears countless have we cried, inside and outside;
The memories rewind, unkind as fate entwined;
I've tried to forgive and forget, upset for I've had regrets;
Love is pain, restrained refrained and I went insane...

I was lost but then she came, became my life's only aim;
Into the darkness she went, prevent the torment;
She was an angel, fragile though humble;
A sweet little girl, pearl as her nature unfurl...

My pain she felt, held and with it she dealt;
She set me free, deeply I felt her love for me;
She's the one I knew it then! Pen in my hand the poems began;
Tirelessly I wrote on, on and on until the dawn...

April rains brought morning, blooming with a blessing;
Life is not over, after her arrival it's a new chapter;
A love profound and genuine, chosen one from the heaven;
Forever I'll live, give and to my past I forgive...
