You Are Loved...Intensely

Have me reach your love beyond raven walls,
further than the lacuna of my query,
for sun is a dweller I am not understanding,
and how I desire to want to go that distance.

Have me awakened, startled and in awe
that the clouds have been traced so low,
palpable, no longer dividing you and I-
I need you more than my eyes can encompass.

Have me distinguishable by daybreak and
eventide, to know I am not my own song,
that you have picked me up among tempos,
and know the speed in which I live.

Have me breathing in fresh waters clear
of my bitter, adust tears I thought I'd die in;
have me molded from your fathoming
that I will be missed, that I am cherished.

Please Lord, will you have me
and never let me be released from you?
