Tiffs

by Chelsey & Naughtymouse   Jul 17, 2012

To be read as: woman speaking, man speaking, etc

As much as I hate to admit it,
the health of our relationship
lies in the pit of every arguement
Fire blisters my tongue, burns your spirit
Yet, that is no comparison to
what I bestow in my heart for you

And as my spirit burns, a new soul
rises from its ashes like a phoenix,
ready to fly you
to the paradise of our future.
For with each rebirth, comes new joy
and happiness within my being...

While you plan our journey,
I prepare my heart to soar to
tropical places where the sun kisses your body
and your lips are planted upon mine

For we know, and others shall see,
the blossom of true love enfold.
Forgiveness shows we love and
passions do run deep
Under that sun will forever be,
my heart entrusted to yours

As we encounter rough spots,
I vow to belong to you faithfully
Remembering always, why we fell in love
and the reasons I adore you

I promise to make those rough spots smooth,
to walk by your side and hold your hand,
to love life and live my life for you

What a gorgeous collab you two!!! Oh the wording and images. I like how you made it so that it was a woman and man speaking.

    Awesome!

I rarely see on this website collabs that are read this way. Usually they are read as one breath, but here, I like the presence of two people talking...

I only love the 'Phoenix' part..
LOL, kidding, great one Chels & Ben!
