Stick up Women

by joseph santacruz   Jul 17, 2012

Stick up women with their dirty tricks
stuck up clowns and jokers chasing their fix.
Pretty and creepy while pulling their crimes
while I feel wired and sleepy most of the time.
All of a sudden they let me down altogether
its true what they say about those flocking birds of a feather.
Racing the sun, dancing with the moon
so many crooked songstress belting out the same old tune.
It didnt mean enough to them to mean enough to me
the more space between us the closer I can see.
I was blinded by their light and subject to their hysteria
any space they blew in became a shady area.
luckily there was one thing I knew right from the start
treat them mean, feed them beans and harden up my heart.
Just because something makes (cents) dosent make it right
and friends that have your back dont show up for every fight.
Wicked games, made up names, how seriously we joked
girls untamed, girls gone wild, reputations smoked.
Witches, black widows and jezebels cruel and moronic
Im looking for a good wife...isnt that ironic?
All the dirty deeds they do its really quite harrassing
so I place a sign on my heart "attention no tresspassing!"
No place for white knights or prince charmings here
keep your eyes peeled and an open ear.
Somewhere someplace someone is getting something for nothing that is true
somewhere someplace someone is getting nothing for something and singing the blues.
