The Four Seasons (Haiku)

by Khalid M Darwish   Jul 17, 2012

In autumn, the day and night equalize
Dusty winds enter our eyes
Olive will harvest so greatly
Farmers happily collect crops

In winter, day is longer than night
Rough air blow, cold, rains and snow
People visit skiing squares
Birds migrate to warmer country

In spring air is between cold and hot
Plants and animals prosper
Swallow near blooming flowers
People enjoy nice weather

In summer, hot and humid weather
No school or university
Going to beaches for swimming
Journeys to ancient places
