Dreams and realism

by Samuel Ernst   Jul 18, 2012

Im pretty sure Im happy,
That is depending on what happy is,
Meaning that meaningless things gain importance,
We shall all sleep in unacounted silence,
Postures destrubing the blood flow,
The numb limbs asound us with weight,
Luther wouldnt be too proud,
We are all niggers now,
I had a dream too once,
But when the sun came up,
Bannishing the peacful darkness,
I woke up and the dream was gone,
Broken memories loosend by astonished realism,
Failure indetured servetude,
We are all slaves to the mighty capital,
Money, sex, lies and negligence,
Crave to have the nicest things,
But its all a dream we will all wake up from,
In the nightmarish exsistance of hell,
Death lurks around every corner,
But in the dark, in my dreams,
I am the hero of the day,
The truth is I need a hero myself.

I really like the way you interchanged the dreaming from reality!
I can deeply relate... at times it feels like the dream life is an escape from the nightmares reality bring. In reality you may feel trapped but in the dream you are free!

I really like the way you have composed and constructed this piece it is very deep and thorough displaying your thoughts and feelings about this topic in a nicely crafted way!

    5.5 from me!
