Up and Down

by werty   Jul 19, 2012

You say you care,
Two months after you act as if I'm not there,
You say I've become a nightmare,
But what you don't understand is that I'm the one in despair.

You watch me burn,
From that, glory you earn,
Because of you I will have to re-learn,
how to love without a taking a u-turn.

You broke me a thousand times,
I'm tired of going down and after the small climbs,
Knowing I'm gonna go down, and I wonder sometimes,
What crime did I commit to deserve this sentence of a lifetime.

Can't you see that you're hurting me?
All these fights are so bloody,
You always end them briefly,
And I always end walking blindly.

Always going up and down,
Lower and lower evrytime I'm around,
Everytime a new breakdown,
And everytime sadness surrounds.

Please,
I'm tired of this game,
I don't know who to blame,
But for this time,
Stay.

Good job. I felt the sadness of the relationship and the struggles it was facing. I could relate to this. Then you think of all sorts and it being over with so all you want to do is make them stay so that nothing changes.

    Nice work.
