Missing Someone (Collab)

by Thomas   Jul 19, 2012

Missing someone
is a nagging feeling
No way of releasing
But silently squealing

Regretting decisions
that were previously made
Now I'm dying inside,
while you're so far away

But behind this regret
there is still love burning
Like the hands on a clock
that won't stop turning

Apologies dance wild
through my guilt-ridden mind
Hoping you'll still want me
In the midst of this bind

As you return closer
more solutions I devise
To build a steady foundation
before I do my final roll of the dice

As my luck is tested,
there's only one thing I'll wish
Is you return with a smile
and give me a whole-hearted kiss

I absolutely hate the feeling of missing someone, you just don't feel whole when they are gone. They consume your thoughts... it's irritating and all you can think about is how to get them to come back. You and Chelsey captured that perfectly! :)
