The other Thing

by Blood of a Lion   Jul 22, 2012

Beware you poor ones.
The very envies and deceits and strife for the rich ones,
Do you not yourself know that your very cup has been made light?
What worry do you bear?
Food is it not always there?
Your children do they not understand?
And do they not learn even so just as the rich ones do?

I tell you in sooth that if they are taught by a bitter heart,
their very ways will thus become bitter.

Instead I say, be more thankful,
for your thoughts will remain free to you and even benefit you,
Whereas the rich one's own thoughts could actually steal away his very inheritance,
but you are free.

For the one who sits content with beans,
be thankful for they were provided,
To the one who works but remains poor,
do not do so out of the bitterness of yourself,
it is easy to do, Instead remember the littles ones which you feed.

Remember always that you still have the breath for love.
For love has always been free.

A little chaos is needed to create balance just as friend of mine says but too much is not needed. So yeah, the bad moments are also what make us who we are and thus one should appreciate both good and bad...

Well I did a little editing to it.
I think it flows a little bit better now. Thanks

Instead I say, be the thankful,

^^ I think it should be "Be thankful," since Thankful is an adjective so it should be describing how you want this someone to be. The is an article and it usually goes along with a noun. Though, I actually think is just a typo.

-- You have the idea going on this piece though, it needs more work on it to create a powerful effect on the reader. However, I agree. One should be thankful for having freedom. We are free to love, to breath and specially one should be thankful to have something to eat.

I actually have a hard time understanding peoples lack of appreciation for the little things in life. After all what fun is life without a little chaos?
