The day the angel died

by Abandoned Angel   Jul 22, 2012

An angel died,
The devil cried.
Even he felt for her,
He wondered why.

This girl was beautiful,
this girl was a star.
Everyone sat,
and watched in awe.
She had big brown eyes,
lips made for kissing.
She sat alone,
silently wishing.

The day she died,
was unlike most,
she sat there,
staring at him,
she was white as a ghost.

She bit her lip,
then looked away,
she knew exactly what,
he was about to say.

He started with sorry,
excuses pouring his mouth,
she sat there and listened,
quiet like a mouse.

She started to frown,
she still loved him,
she had to admit it,
something clicked,
and she came back with it.

The lies, the hurt,
then something knew,
he was ending it,
and she got real blue.

She sold her soul,
darkness over toke her,
she weeped in the dark,
he wondered what to do with her.
After all she had nowhere to go,
his affection had allways been a show.
He grabbed a knife,
and cut her heart,
coldness came over her,
quick as a dart.

the flow dipped. . It had me all the same. Nice piece. .
