Coherent love

by Khalid M Darwish   Jul 24, 2012

Day and night I can't throw my thoughts aside
and cannot stop thinking of our relationship and how coherent it is!
We've been each other dependent for couple years
And have never been thinking of fate of our relationship

I know that you kept me as a ring slung out of your ears
and as a ring wrapping your finger.
Now I filled your heart before filling your eyes
although I'm a poor man looking just for a comfortable pillow to lay on.

One day I had a somehow funny dream
as a man suffering of terrible hunger
and having nothing to eat but his beloved.
I woke up so frightened and finally found myself ate half of my pillow!

The eye language always takes most of our time
Involuntarily it is translated to reveal how strong is our tenderness
and that whatsoever is the distance and barriers,
these would never upset our trust that our love is hard to finish

Nice poem. The lines that stood out to me were from this stanza :

"One day I had a somehow funny dream
as a man suffering of terrible hunger
and having nothing to eat but his beloved.
I woke up so frightened and finally found myself ate half of my pillow!"

    - What a vivid image this creates of the stravation you felt and the choices you had. Such a unique thought to put into a poem.

    nice work

This is a nic write on friendship
from what I gather, friendship is something
that needs to be earned, especially where
the trust is concerned. Once that has been
    established nothing can break that
    friendship apart
