Tailgated Souls (collab)

by Meme & One Man Clan   Jul 26, 2012

Everything ground to a halt;
leaving this soul wondering
wherein lies the fault?
Who else is there to blame?
Pointing fingers to the unknown,
oh this is just a shame.

Everywhere to go is surrounded
by a trail of soundlessness. Still
eagerly looking for a way that
leads to forgiveness

There appears to be nothing
rising on the horizon, but
disappointment and desolation.
But temptation tailgates its forces
towards that devastation..

..this soul is now wading through the sludge.

Is there a road to sanity in the
dark desert highway of stumbling
blocks and obstacles?
Or should it raise its hands and
pray for a whole host of miracles?

Awesome collab between you both. I love your writings (the both of you) and this poem is great. I love when there are questions in the poems to make us think!

I'm not sure about the answers to the questions but they did left me thinking... The first stanza is the one that spoke the most to me.. True is easier to point fingers at others and to try to blame others.. But it's better to know what the mistake was and move on forward.

    Great collab 5/5
