Closing curtains

by Alexis   Jul 26, 2012

Reality destroys me every day
and I don't know where I am going
or how to get there.
I am trying hard to create a new me
for this ambiguous I.

I can hear my bones breaking
under the weight of my doubts.
How hard it is to be normal!
I am wasting my energies,
my words, my self.

Where is the exit?

Wow, this is a really deep poem... and in such few words.

    My favorite part was:
I can hear my bones breaking
under the weight of my doubts.

^^ the idea of your bones breaking shows how heavy your doubts are, and how much pain it is causing you. Very powerful!

A very well-written poem. Well done!
