Forever Never

This pain in my chest hurts-way less than I wish it would
and yet more than I thought it could;
an equal lover who I thought I had
left me feeling all kinds of bad,
stole my heart without ever sharing
broke my heart without ever caring,
woeful drops fall from weary eyes
at the thought of the devil's lies
of how we'd be together
just me and her-forever...

    This is short but deep, the rhymes work well to add to the flow, the emotion and sadness here was not too much but just enough to give the essence needed...
