I'll Watch The Rain Fall Down

by Angeleea   Jul 28, 2012

I'll watch the rain fall down
and think about your face
I'll see you're amazing smile
and be taken to a happier place

I'll watch the rain fall down
and see you standing on the street
I'll see you standing out there
With water all around your feet

I'll watch the rain fall down
and always see you there
I'll know it's really you
I know you really care

I'll watch the rain fall down
but eventually it will stop
I'll see you standing out there
'Till it rains its final drop

But once the rain is gone
the image will soon fade
And you won't be out there anymore
And my memory will be frayed

But I'll watch the rain fall down
And keep a close watch at the street
For until the rain must stop
I'll see you out there on your feet
