*jumps through the computer and HUGS YOU*

Deeply felt within this piece... There is a darkness of pain within us, and sometimes we find ourselves releasing that pain in many ways... you needed to share this, to release this within writing, and I thank you for allowing my eyes to read it.... powerful piece!

    There is no better release
than a wild flame burning you
Oh! What a strange feeling you need to try!
Well penned piece of hurt, lol.
    I enjoyed the feelings.

This reminds e of a cutter releasing the pain
We all have a dark side and release our feelings and pain in many different ways.
What makes it even woerse, nobody will
    hear our cry

I know exactly how you feel...
    hugs.

This is a piece of poetry that doesnt need fancy words and metaphors because it shows emotion in its simplicity, while being powerful and flowing perfectly.

    hugs and love

I understand what you mean. I use to do the same thing to create a distraction, to cause a greater pain so i dont feel my hurting heart. good job.

This is raw emotion and tells us of how you deal with your pain. Everyone has their own way of coping with their pain...some healthy and unhealthy. I don't think burning yourself is the way to go, just like I don't agree with cutting, however it is your body and your choice. I'm not trying to offend you, I hope you don't take it that way. I just think there could be other releases you could try without doing physical harm to yourself? Like I said, I mean no offense and certainly am not judging you in anyway. You are a wonderful writer and I can tell a very sweet person who has had a troubled past. I know it haunts you and you need to escape it so you do something more drastic to take your mind off of it. :(

I'm glad you shared this poem, it's so powerful.

    Keep writing, Saffie!!

Hey just to stop any confusion I do not cut or harm, I used to but have not done it for many years. This was a poem I wrote a while ago while remembering what it was like and how it helped. So no need to worry, honest :) xx
