If I was Santa Claus

If I was Santa Claus know what I would do?
I would make all good wishes come true.

I'd abolish nukes and ban the bomb
polish the stars and give them to mom.

Id collect unwanted pets from streets where they roam
make them pretty and donate them to lonely old folks homes.

I'd go to orphanages and open the doors
and for every good boy find loving parents for.

I'd make rain in the desert and dry up floods
make mortal enemies become best buds.

I'd banish aids and increase love
make peace and happiness rain down from above.

All those people on the corner dealing drugs
Id make them stand on the corner and give out hugs.

Important riddles I would find the answers
and of course I would find a cure for cancer.

Id outlaw hate and end all wars
turn soldiers into farmers and feed the poor.

So what would put smiles on this Santas face?
to make this world a much better place.

This may sound like a bit to do by myself
but I have Mrs Claus, reindeer and a couple of good elves.

I know this all might seem silly and sappy
but if Santa did this we would all be happy!
