Summer

Martin arrived yesterday,
he is here for a week.
The weather forecast is for rain,
its all looking pretty bleak.
I will just have to think of,
places where we can go.
Somewhere with indoor activities,
the cinema or maybe a show.
It is the height of summer,
but i should by now realise.
An English summer is rarely,
sunshine strawberries and ice.
