First true love

by Mac   Aug 2, 2012

20 years on and I still think of you
Your flame red hair, the smell of fresh summer dew
I remember quite clear what everyone said,
Your should walk right now, leave him for dead,
And the worse thing is I listened to them
Fell for the patter of countless men.
I remember too what your old gramps said
Your too good for him, screw on your head.
I honestly thought I was doing u right!
Leaving like that in the dead of the night
Seemed at the time you'd be better off,
Only now do I know how much you loved me,
Only now do I realise what i lost.
They say times a healer, well not for me
I lie in bed and Still think of thee;
Of what we'd be doing, how we'd get on.
And what would you think of the man I've become...

    Nice work. I liked it
Just keep space between each comma and the word next after it.
