Pen And Paper

Well pen and paper I guess I am back,
back to releasing my thoughts through you.

For a long time now I have struggled on,
hiding from life and from myself too.

I gave up my writing, gave up on poetry
hoping I could find something new.

But here I am writing these words
unsure of what else to do.

I don't understand how I feel any more
but I know my depression has grew.

And who would have thought I would return here
releasing my thoughts through you.
