Fallen Angel

by Joseph Suttles   Aug 6, 2012

The blood seeps from my lips,
Poison runs through my vains...
And my blade runs faster than the rivers of Earth.
Heaven has forsaken me, Hell has left me...
I am nothing, nothing but a Fallen Angel.
My wounds are unhealable.
My heart is no more...
And my soul shall forever more be unpure.
The Gods has forsaken me,
They banished me to Earth.
I am but a mere slave to them...
In wind, I hear the voices of playfullness,
And to that I travel...
I find two boys... Teenagers I must say...
And they come to greet me,
And laugh in my face.
But they stopped laughing,
Once my blade reached the middle of their puny heads...
And death they met.
The other, he stares at me with pure eyes and sorrow,
I grieve for him, and therefore grant him safety to his home.
