Two choices but we want the third

"You have had a pretty tough time in the past,"
"Yeah"
"Well you know it's only gunna get worse later on"
"Yep"
"Did you know that you are pregnant"

Racings thoughts,
Emotions flashing-
Im happy, sad, scared, terrified.
I didn't think this would actually happen.
Tears welt in my eyes,
Oh what a surprise;
Trying to hold it in but,
Im crying

"I know you can get through this I can tell your a tough women"
Sure as hell got that right.

The father find out he is filled with so much joy,
He cries,
What a miracle something good for once in his life.
Shocked, in awe, but scared.

Two choices given to choose from abortion or adoption.
How dare they not let us keep it.
Abortion,
That's so wrong,
Sucking the life from a solemn individual that hath.not been given the chance to take a single breathe yet.
So adoption is the only choice.
Having a baby as one with me for 9 months and having to hand it up like it was nothing.
Im pissed,
Heartbroken that I have no choice and have to give up this miracle.
