    This is seriously a gorgeous poem. On Monday I'm going to try and remember to nominate this.

    I love the first stanza and the bit about lavender, you've played on so many sense here, and I really like this. Later on in the poem I adored the use of "skeptical sighs", I thought that was a lovely play off the tongue. The flow here is really soft and beautiful, as well.

    The last two stanzas really wrapped the poem up well for me, the question as if rhetorical, you've already made your decision of how you'd handle it. I really adore this poem!

    I agree about the play on senses here, from lavender to the very last line "rob me of my shallow breathing" there was such a strong expression you used here to get to the reader.

    Beautiful write, your lines have power to them yet make me think about what path will be taken, or what you will choose. I will definitely read again
