The moonlight beams on this eve's hour With eyes that colored the setting sun Shades and shades intensify, fade Slowly close, drifting away To leave a heart broken, with a solitary tear And a shadow saunters To take a soul Stay motionless, blend as the winds flow. Soon life will embrace you, my dear Life from another world. Oh sweet Luna cries in this eventide In sight of mystique sorrow. But such was never meant To last til a lifetime's end For at the summit of such undaunted night Dawn will slowly creep, For glory after strife; Left no pain after death.

Really nice poem. But such was never meant To last til a lifetime's end.--I love this line. Everything is temporary, no pain after death...I can sense your hope and dispair.
