Heartstrings

by Lyndy   Aug 12, 2012

Twilight approaches as leaf by leaf turn hue,
when night overwhelms soft embers to dark-gray;
Certain as day follows night,
dawn yielding to dusk,
So will my love, though shifts from light to gray and back,
remain a love: ever true, ever fair
though time whitens the hair;
Love will retain its vibrancy;
color every angle of our two worlds,
enliven with your every breath;
Air of my world, my life.
