Pretender

by Lyndy   Aug 12, 2012

You plead with drops of crocodile tears
whimpers of fake sobs and sighs
deception clouds your eyes
but they are blind

You hid it well
that I can say
but no thicker fog can conceal the light of day
you can never deceive my knowing eyes of you

Comfort you, they shall
give you anything at your whim
but I'll always be in the background
watching, knowing, patiently waiting
til karma comes for your dues

You spoiled little brat!

Truth is eye, that sees through deceit. A liar, is the master cheat. Anger saved now, heals the war then. Forgiveness, is solemn vengeance.
