This is sooo creepy I can't write dark poems , I tried, but this just gives me the chills, that's what dark poems should do!! Haha I love it, makes me want to watch a scary movie!

The form somehow looks like a chess piece to me, I don't know why though, aha.

Dark poems usually are meant to be ambiguous and open, but at the same time, obscure. And that's what I like about them.
My interpretation is that the sacrifice is beauty or simply, life. Or maybe both? I think time is what awaits here yet it seems the persona 'accepts' it? Because it is inevitable and there is hope still.
