Today

Today I let you go
I stood idle and let you go
I felt the warmth of my tears flow
But I didnt blink I watched you go
I felt my blood boil
But I didn't try to reach out
I felt my heart in my throat
But I didn't murmur a single word
I simply watched you
I then turned and swiftly walked away
Each step felt like ten
I simply prayed our paths would meet again
