I like the sentiment in this but I think all the 'I need' and 'someone' makes it look a little odd.
Its short and too the point,
how about dropping 'I need' from lines 2 and 3 and 'Someone to' from lines 5, 6, and 7. It will still have the same message.
(Only a suggestion, it is up to you!!)

It would then look like this:

I need a hero
a friend
a savior
someone to save me
to protect me
help me
love me
I need a hero
one who will always be there
so will you be my hero
