Lovers complaint

by Andrea Torres   Aug 19, 2012

As the moon uncovers the sapphire sky,
It uncovered the secrets; of yours and mine.
Despondency, in my soul, I do keep.
Because of you, my love, I'm walking in steeps.
Wherefore the stars in heaven glows tonight?
When my heart dessevers from my sight?
The western wind took it as it passed,
Sent it to you, in the coldness of your grasp.
Give my heart back to me!
The moon like you is inconstant in its orb,
As any one can see.
Bring me back the love you stole from me!
Never leave me crying!
Longing, for thee.

Struck by awe yet again! So eloquently written! It seems like beauty just overflows from your mind and spills out of your mouth! It is as if all the poets have came to one place to rest in your soul and converse! I absolutly love your poetry!
