Peter you win, hands down, to come up with such a complex piece in such a short space of time is testament to you writing skills. This is why they call you the red hot rhymer. Very touching.

    Dear Peter,

You had me in tears with this poem:)

You crafted this with so much care and it was not until I read this, that I realized how good a friend I have found in you.

Only thing that is that I am not really a quiet person, ha ha. But you were not to know. If we ever do have that coffee, you will find that out.

Thank you so very much, you won the challenge and will have the kiss when we meet for coffee:)

    Well done,

    5/5 Ingrid

This poem is really lovely, genuine and kind. At some parts I almost found it quite cute and romantic in a way but its intertwined with what I believe is a very loving strong friendship.

You share a love for ingrid of true friendship!
I loved the description everything so was perfectly put together, amazing work Peter :)

I really loved the rhythem this poem had. Each line seemed to flow right into the next. And even though you weren't overly descriptive, I could really picture the scene. 5/5

One day perhaps, if you're ever free
I'll take you to lunch. just you and just me
To just get away from 'those people' around
Whose dark Hearts so cold, where jealousy abounds
To whisk you away for one moment in time
Where you can relax and yourself, unwind
Cos just like a Flower that blooms after rain
I so want to see you, happy, again..

    ^^^

And so we did and what a lovely lunch that was, my dear friend!!!!!

    Peter
This was easy to comment on, not least because it has a wonderful rhyme scheme and lovely content but because Ingrid truly is one of the nicest people I've met on this site.
    Well done,
    Ben

    Hello Peter,

Ben is completely right. Ingrid is a treasure of this site and certainly deserves a personal tribute like this.

Now you have taken her to lunch. Maybe I could take her out, to a museum, or for a nice stroll?

    Take care,

    Michael

Ingrid is indeed a very special lady, and I hope my poem in a small way, has done her the justice that she deserves. She is a very special lady.

What a sweet piece for a beautiful person. Ingrid is indeed a special lady and she deserves such a beautiful dedication. She has an open heart, welcoming to every new person, reads each poem with heart, comments honestly, always encouraging others. Great poem and much appreciated.
