Master Sandman

by Krysten   Aug 19, 2012

Master Sandman
Please release me from your impervious grasp,

This apathetic torture is too much,
What sin have i commited that i must endure your grueling punishment?

This strenuous night too long
Hours pass with each tick of the second hand
How long shall i be deprived of that which i crave above all else?

My bright eyes too heavy
Laden with the disire to close
Is it your aspiration to drive me mad on this night?

Please Master Sandman
Release your hold on me
Allow me a morsel of sweet relief.

Only you hold the power,
To deliver me to the inconceivable,
land of dreams

Theres some great words in this. I love how you are almost pleading in this, you can sense your tiredness yet you have used this to your advantage. This is a great write, hope you have a better night tonight.
