Is this really what you get
When you fall and no one's there to pick you up ?
No one knows how much I wanted to win
And conquer what they call love.
But alas, love is the bigger *itch
And it left me feeling like this;
Absolutely to the point of a breakdown,
So, as of right now, tears are falling on the ground.

Shouldn't have had my heart wide open
And now look at me, I'm broken;
Suffocating from your lies
That once made me melt in a sweet disguise.

I know it's gonna take at least ten days
And I'll tell myself that you didn't exist.
I didn't even give you the time to explain,
Just wanted to forget our first kiss.
But alas, the memories will bring pain
And I'll have to try to not go insane.
I'm past the point of breaking down,
But, as for right now, my tears are smacking the ground.

You gave me the most miserable love of all,
But I gotta admit, you were the best
At making my heart thump through my chest.
Yeah, forgetting isn't gonna be that easy.

This is what you get when you let love in;
You get a broken heart when you let it win.
So save yourself; don't do it.
