Broken mirrors

by Mohan   Aug 19, 2012

Cold night
Your memories are not disturbing me
I am not melting with my depression
Because
every time I'm receiving your messages

No need to realize; fake relations are free here
Because
you never leave me
I'm not struggling in pain
Because
my life is filled with beautiful peace

I am always fine
And a perfect life with you is waiting for me
These are my best lies
I can't accept the reality
You left me alone

my inbox always empty
Really fake relations are free here
Because
I'm just time pass for you

Now my life looks like a broken mirrors
but with every pieces
still showing your memories
I disturbed in this sleepless cold night

I really like the flow of the entire poem. It included repetition which is a great technique in emphasising to the reader what you feel is so important. I like how you distributed between negative and positive emotions in the same stanza it really sets the scene on how our mind thinks.
I really liked reading this poem! Keep up the good work!

    5.5 from me

I love the last stanza Mohan, clever piece with real sadness. It flows nice and you set the mood very well with the first line.
There is a real fight with your emotions in this, trying to draw strength, battling both depression and fond memories.
