Three years of friendship culminated into a first kiss
It was the ending of a chapter but then we turned the page
Emerged from the wings, now here we stand on center stage
This man stands in front of me with heart and arms open
Wanting to run to him but past heartbreaks have me frozen
Knowing his love's for real help me to thaw out
Sending me to the sky, I'm tip-toeing on clouds
About to reach the ninth one and the view is getting hazy
Scheduling my 730 exam because his touch has me feeling crazy
To turn back now is not an option so sane is overrated
Offer me anything you want for what we have and I wouldn't trade it
So I take one last breath and dive head first into what could be
