Love seller

by Khalid M Darwish   Aug 21, 2012

Cruising in poetry market,
with all his favorite poems
Looking for any costumers
whose demand fit in them

calling 'we've nice poetry'
'C'mon! Who buys poems'
'we've life, nature, sorrow,
Friendship and fun poetry'

Daily getting disappointed
of all goods not being sold
though used to have them
critiqued then re-polished

Until a girl asked one day:
'You haven't a love poem!'
'You won't sell any poetry,
unless you've love poems'

Since that day he became
a famous love poem seller
selling plenty of his poems
daily surrounded by lovers

People write from the bottom of their
    heart expressing their emotions, words
they can't speak. Me personal I am not in to
love poetry since I can't relate.
Writing a poem depends on the mood we are
in and I comment everybody writing
about love, something I can't do
