Impressions

by Ole Carsten   Aug 22, 2012

I still feel the impression
Formed by your kiss
It is printed on my lips
Pressed for only a minute

I see the shape
Formed by your body
It is carved in the mattress
Pressed for only a night

I touched my screen
Formed by your mail
Letter by letter still there
Pressed by your fingers

I enjoyed this idea of repeating the phrase of pressed, but in a different way each stanza, worked well. Nice work.

This poem reminds of two people chating
on the internet. Whoever she is, she must
    left a good impression.

A meeting can be short but also leave a lasting impression and that is what I read here.

This women may not have been there long but she left her mark in your mind
