It's important to study and remember the past to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past. they said.
But what if you can't avoid it?
What if you dont learn from your mistakes?
What if the past sticks to you like a cliche and won't leave ya alone?
What if you don't learn from your mistakes. although you wish and tell yourself that next time it be different.
But it still catches ya. you only feel like it has it left ya.
That you managed to avoid it.
But it was hidden.
It was there waitin' to strike when ya not prepared.
What then? is it still important to remember the past?
When its oppressive your thoughts and keeping you from sleep
Till it will drive you insane.
Or its better to forget. be at ease.
