Journey of a lost child

by Alanis   Aug 25, 2012

Sea of forgotten tears, drown my soul that I might
Feel compassion again for those who are lost in
Themselves. Wretched love release my heart of
Your cold clutched so that my stary eyes may be
Cleared to see the world around me. How long
Has it been that these eyes have seen happiness? How
Long has it been since a laugh as escaped these lips?
Too long, a life time ago. Wind of lost forests guide
Her to her purpose. No longer shall she waste her
Soul. Babbling brooks be off assistance and provide
Her peace and serenity. And blessed be her journey
Journey of a lost child.
