'til all loneliness is just
an owl coddling nighttide
songs for the moon.

I always love when you write dark poetry, it does amazing things and this is no exception.
I love the first line, beer and sandle stars - what an interesting pair and way to show that imagery. This whole piece is full of imagery that is peculiar and interesting, and I lost myself in that. In fact I still don't grasp what the poem is truly about or get a feel on it because everytime I try, I get lost in the art. It's really a beautiful thing :)
"malachite irises smile
five feet away
and I feel like I am
among the presence of
a king, who will not leave me
without testing my soul."
This part not only creeps me out, it is just brilliant. I love reading this line, as I've had a similar feeling with people before. The arrogance and testerone involved, the high and mighty feeling you feel. Ah, this was wonderfully described.
I also love the piece LP highlighted as well - I loved owls and everything about the night you showed, love the usage of nighttide.. songs for the moon, oh that is just beautiful.
