Shes a child at heart, a free spirit indeed
So sad and lost, many tears she bleeds
A father she lost, a gentle kind man
When all fell apart, the little girl ran
Her family was grieving, alone and consumed
by the death of man, the anger that fumed
She grew up real fast, but was far from reach
They needed her strength, her uplifting speech
So she booked her flight, she got on a plane
From her residence Phoenix, to hometown Maine
The tears that she bled, while hiding away
Her family knew, they asked her to stay
The ticking clock ticked, tic tic away
the pain had resided, due to her stay
The little ones laughed, and slowly her too
Her mother was thankful, and so Gela knew
No matter what happens, anytime of the year
Her family standing, was finally clear
Her father that left, was a very wise man
He's peacefully gone, and behind left a plan
That plan was his daughter, he knew her so well
A vision of strength, and a powerful yell
Her voice was herd, a brilliant mend
Of that sad, angry day, that came to an end.
