Husbands Betrayal

by layla   Aug 27, 2012

What ever the case, heart break or death
The riveting feeling, stops even your breath
Confusion in mind, your heart creates heat
The sweat from your head, drips to a beat

The chatter and clatter, the steps of a shoe
Your hearings impaired, few start to view
Something is wrong; your hands start to shake
A man he takes notice, a call he then makes

Someone come quick, this woman's not right
The color of skin, a pale scary white
Her eyes role back, her vision goes blind
They open her purse, surprised what they find

Empty bottle of jack, empty bottle of pills
Soon come to find, what generates chills
The woman's not breathing, no pulse to her neck
Another man shouts, again you should check

The other man yelling, runs right to her side
This is my wife, he weeps as he cries
Two empty bottles, he catches in sight
The promise he waited, to tell her tonight

Sorry for cheating, divorce he wont file
He waited to see, her face and her smile
A bottle to late, and pills she did take
For her husband's betrayal, she never will wake
