Counting Sheep

If I were to count the moments spent
eyes wide open, staring into darkness
losing sleep to thoughts that wander
like lost sheep,

I'd be shepherd to more numbers than I could tend.

    This is perfect. I love this poem and the idea of having to many thoughts seems like our generation these days. Love this!

    I really like this idea :) Sleeplessness in yet another poem. I think another title could've been much better though. Counting sheep is a bit overused.

    <3 Why is everyone writing smart stuff unlike me these days? Stop blowing me away, people.

    Jesus, that was genius. And the 'sleep' - 'sheep' rhyme was so well-placed and unique. Gave it some rhythm.
